Little tube shot from this morning on the Gulf. You’ll notice the water droplets on the left hand side of the shot. These were inside the housing. I had been making sure the screws were tightened and didn’t realize I snapped one off, so I had a bit of moisture get in. Luckily camera seems to be working fine after a little cleaning.
I’ve never tried using any HDR techniques before, and thought I would give it a whirl. Not sure if I really like it or not. Will have to keep testing I suppose.

Some little swell found its way into Venice, FL on the Gulf Coast last Friday after a cold front passed through. Some fun little waves were on deck. Beautiful weather. Was great to finally have a day off that happened to have waves.

Finally a break from the heat down in Florida. I woke up at 5:45 this morning to see the thermometer at 58 degrees. I haven’t seen it below 75 since sometime in April probably. There was a cold front that moved through yesterday and stirred up some knee to thigh high peelers in the Gulf. The air was pretty chilly, but the water was still in the 80s, making for a nice 2 hour log session in Venice, FL.
